Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir

The Ram Janmabhoomi temple at the birthplace of Lord Ram was consecrated on 22 January 2024 after centuries of devotion. The Nagara-style sanctum houses Ram Lalla Virajman in resplendent bal-roop. The Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla was performed by Pradhan Mantri Narendra Modi on 22 January 2024 (Paush Shukla Dwadashi, 2080 VS), with ceremonies led by Acharya Lakshmikant Dixit. The 51-inch dark-stone idol was carved by sculptor Arun Yogiraj of Mysuru. The temple, built in the Nagara style of the Saryu sandstone, spans 2.7 acres at the core with five mandapas — Nritya, Rang, Sabha, Prarthana and Kirtan — and stands 161 ft tall. On Ram Navami every year, the Surya Tilak — a 75 mm beam guided through a precision optical system — illuminates Ram Lalla's forehead for four minutes at exactly 12:00 noon.

A traditional Hindu temple layout — the garbhagriha, antarala, and ranga-mandapa arranged along a sacred east-facing axis. The stonework at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir has been maintained across generations by the temple trust, honouring both the vastu tradition and the region's craftsmanship.

Bhagwan Shri Ram Lalla is worshipped here as the presiding form of the divine. Devotees offer prayers, flowers, and sacred chants; the daily aarti cycles anchor the temple's rhythm from Brahma Muhurta at dawn to the Shayan aarti at night.
